Bheja Fry2- Deep Fried

The Bheja Fry sequel promises to be bigger, madder and funnier than before. Starring Vinay Pathak, KK Menon, Minissha Lamba, Suresh Menon and Amol Gupte, Bheja Fry 2 produced by Mukul Deora and directed by Sagar Ballary.

In This Movie, Bollywood’s original idiot –Bharat Bhushan, played by Vinay Pathak, returns four years on, to fulfill his cherished dream of becoming a singer. Interestingly, Vinay Pathak also makes his singing debut with the film. Being a big classical music fan, Vinay took inspiration from iconic yesteryear singers like Mohammad Rafi, Mukeshji, and Kishore Kumar while preparing for his debut behind the microphone.

To take from where he left off ,Vinay also went on a strict all-carbs diet for 6 weeks to regain the weight he lost to play the stupid but lovable Bharat Bhushan.

“Bharat Bhushan is back to fry your brains and have you laughing off your seat as the film takes you through his frolics with the other eccentric mix of characters. From the cruise to the island –Bharat is back to establish himself the Baap of all Comedians”, Sources Said.

Producer Mukul Deora talks about how the sequel of the hit Bheja Fry takes a whole new interesting leap while keeping the intrinsic spirit of the original alive

The director believes he’s not into the business of making a franchise and instead wants to concentrate on delivering a good product. About the process that led to part 2, Sagar says, “It was a huge task to sit and think about the sequel. I didn’t want to rush into anything. I wanted to make sure that we didn’t repeat the setting or the jokes; it had to be totally fresh.

The basic premise revolves around Bharat Bhushan who represents the idiot on the street. I feel that today’s educated man is the mafia and it was important that we made that point.” Is there a social message in the film? “The first part didn’t have any particular message, but in the second we have made subtle comments on society. Since Bhushan is an IT officer we have tried to reflect tax frauds as well.” Will there be a Bheja Fry 3? “I don’t want to make a franchise. I don’t want to kill the brand by making films for the sake of it. The reason I made this film is because I believed in it.”

Bollywood actors Vinay Pathak and Kay Kay Menon weren’t the only ones treated like stars on the sets of Bheja Fry 2 — a monkey also received A-class treatment. The monkey is part of the movie.

“Director Sagar Ballary made sure that the monkey was treated like a celebrity on the sets. The scene starring the monkey is one of the highlights of the film. It was amusing shooting for it since Vinay absolutely loved the monkey while Kay Kay was a little cautious and would keep away,” said a source.

I am sure Bheja Fry2 would be the bunch of Laughter.
