Bollywood and Glamor go hand in hand, and the statement does not need any proof. But apart from glamor, one more thing that has the privilege of companionship with Bollywood is, CRIME.
Crime and Bollywood have now become synonyms of each other. So many actors till date have got into some kind of anti-social incidents. The industry got the first JHATAKA in the form of Sanjay Dutt. The son of the most reputed duo in the filmy duniya, Nargis and Sunil Dutt. Sanjay was arrested under the TADA for owing AK-47 rifles, in 1993. He is still fighting for his innocence in the Supreme Court.

But his contact with crime has another history!! Sanjay Dutt got into drugs while still in high school. His mother’s death due to cancer worsened Sanjay’s drug habit. Sunil Dutt then sent him to a rehab center in Texas. After attending a rehabilitation program in the United States, a sober Dutt started working in films again.

Another famous actor who followed Sanju Baba’s footsteps is Salman Khan. Became notorious with the hunting of Black Buck in Jodhpur, while shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain. The irony is that except Salman Khan everybody else who was involved in hunting act is now out of any legal effect, but Salman is the only one who still bearing the consequences and that was not the end. After few years he was found guilty for driving his car through a footpath causing the death of 1 person and injuring 4 people. In between the two, there was the Aishwarya-Vivek episode that brought Salman in the lime light, of course for the bad reason.

Firoz Khan’s son Fardeen was arrested while buying drugs in May 2001. Though he came up with apologies and said sorry to all his fans. FANS?? Anyways lets not get into that.
Last but not the least, how can we forget Shiney Ahuja?? One morning everything became not so shiny for the actor. His maid accused him of raping her. He was arrested and then released after few days. But the case is still on.
Not only males but the female actors of the industry have also became the part of this dirty game.. Mandakini, Monika Bedi are the prominent names.
There are so many other examples too..  seems that fame has its own drawbacks!!

If I ask you do you remember the song, “Mile Sur Mera Tumhara”.. You would say ofcourse I do remember!! Atleast for me this is one of the very few memories of my childhood.., that I recall clearly.. It was like a custom in many of our houses to watch the song on Doordarshan, every Sunday.. To watch so many starts in one song was like a treat. Almost every big name of that time featured in the song.. The song was a relish..
But gradually we lost connection with the gana and got busy with our lifestyle…
But now after so years, “Mile Sur..” has taken a new avtar.. Zoom has been showing the new version of the song, with new beats and Dhinchak list of stars… the makers have tried to make the song more grand and lavish! You name it and you have it!! From Amitabh to Abhishek to SRK to Salman to Dia Mirza to Sonu Nigam to Lata to Aishwasrya rai, etc… The list can go on and on…

And obviously if there are soo many stars in the song then the new version automatically becomes superbly lengthy!! And that’s the point where you feel that the older one was better… When I saw it for the first time, every moment I thought, now this is going to be the end… But I was wrong every time.. The song is so lengthy that you actually start getting bored after awhile!
Well, Nothing is permanent here.. what comes has to go! And what goes has to be revived..  So keep enjoying what you see and see what you enjoy! Adios…

Salman Khan is in news again.. No, not for any drunk and drive act, but this time for doing an ad for a mouth freshner…

It was thrilling to see Salman in a, chlormint “Dubara Mat Puchna“, ad alongwith Sohail Khan... A kiddy ad, Salman and Sohail’s duo has made the ad interesting…

Seems Salman has realized his social responsibilities and has now decided to breakaway from his past…

On the coming episode of Dus Ka Dum, you will see Salman, defending Rakhie Sawant and telling Mika, (he had bad memories associated with Rakhie), that Rakhie is a nice girl and has worked really hard to come up on the level, where she is right now… And that he has tremendour respect for her…

Amidst the speculations of Salman- Katrina breakup, (though both of them have been denying it), and the not so good condition of Salman’s dream project, “Veer“, I hope Dus Ka Dum and the chlormint ad might prove as a freshner in his life..

Everybody has been waiting for the 2nd season of Dus Ka Dum, hosted by Salman Khan…. And as it is going to kick start soon, the speculations of, how many celebrities are going to take part in the show, have also increased..

And the celebrities whose names have put a break to these speculations, for the time being, are Karishma and Kareena Kapoor… Yes they are going to be the part of Dus Ka Dum, for its first episode…

Though Kareena and Karishma, both are busy with their professional and domestic liabilities, respectively, the two woudn’t just say NO to Salman Khan’s charm…

Dus Ka Dum, after its first season, has always been remembered for the energetic anchoring by Salman Khan and the way Khan interacted with his participants on the show…

But do you remember Kareena Kapoor when on SRK’s, “Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hai?”???? Yeah… She was only able to answer few questions on the show (only one if I remember correctly)… And most of them were answered by beau, Saif Ali Khan…

But Kareena does not have to worry for Dus Ka Dum, as the show does not require any general knowledge, which definitely our bollywood heroines are unaware of.. (Atleast Kareena proved so,on SRK’s show)…

Anyways thats history… But it would be fun to see the sister duo together, on a show, that too hosted by Salman Khan..
